Application for recruitment of 69,000 posts of Assistant Teacher in Elementary Schools of Basic Education Council on 6th January will be done from Thursday afternoon. From Thursday itself, it will also start to charge fees with online application. Rs 600 for general category and Rs 400 for backward and scheduled castes and tribes. Secretary-Examination Regulatory Authority Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi said that online registration will be done on December 20, 6 pm whereas the fee will be deposited till December 21. The last date for completing online applications and taking print is December 22.
Results come on January 22
After taking objections till 11 January, the Expert Committee will be constituted by January 18 and the revised income will be released on January 19. Within a month of the results of the examination on January 22, the selected candidates will be given certificate from the District Education and Training Institute in the respective district.
Application to be able to pass TET
Candidates who have succeeded in the TET on 18th November will be able to take part in the examination. The revised indicator of TET has been released and the result is likely to come by December 8. According to the guidelines of the NCT issued on 28th June this year, BEd degree holders will also be considered as qualifying teachers in primary level teachers recruitment. The BEd degree was valid for the first basic teacher recruitment, but it was removed in the middle.

On January 6, it will be a written examination on 18 divisional headquarters from 11 am to 1.30 pm. The committee of experts will end objections till 18th January. According to the report of the committee, amendment to the Northamala will be uploaded on the website on January 19. The results of the written examination will be released on January 22.
Four lakh candidates expected to join
Out of 11 lakh one thousand 645 candidates, 3 lakh 66 thousand 285 candidates have been successful in the result of the TET (Primary) 2018 declared late on December 4. Officials believe that such a long recruitment for primary schools is not less than any golden opportunity for candidates long afterwards. In this recruitment examination, about 4 lakh candidates are expected to join.It is worth noting that in the year 2018, 68500 Assistant Teacher Recruitment, out of 1 lakh 25 thousand 746 registered candidates, 1 lakh 7 thousand and 873 candidates were examined. Out of these, only 41556 candidates were selected.
Special recruitment exam
Assistant teacher recruitment only for elementary (class 1 to 5) schools.
There will be multiple choice questions.
Examination on OMR sheet instead of answer sheet.
Candidates with BEd degree will also be able to join the examination.
Candidates who only pass primary TET (class 1 to 5) will be able to join.
The Department of Basic Education has not set cutoff before the examination.
